During my visit to Thailand, I was blessed to spend a day in nature… in a jungle …. learning about Thai Elephants, and the difference between them and other elephants. Also learning what they eat. They like bananas. And even about some medicine that they provide them to keep them healthy. And how they don’t sweat …. so they have to bath in the rivers and streams to cool off on hot days. Myself and others visiting the Elephant Sanctuary got to feed the elephants, and even help bathe them (splash water on them in the river with little buckets… that was fun).

Long story short, I fell in love with these gentle giants, and since this place (the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary) runs only on donations and what they make on excursions like I was on…. the need seemed great to keep the elephants in safe natural habitat spaces across Thailand. They don’t allow anyone to ride on the elephants and explained how over time that is harmful for the elephants when that is done repeatedly at other establishments. There the elephants are just eating, and chilling.

I’ve been so motivated to help support the Thailand elephants that I’ve been personally donating monthly to their Care Project Foundation since my trip. Also giving a portion of my Bloomkins-Shops.com sales revenue to the same cause (Thailand Elephants) in 2024.

On one of my earlier videos on one of my social media accounts, I shared pictures and urged people to donate to the charity. I neglected to add a link to the Care Project from my blog, and tell my blog readers about the elephants in Thailand and the Care Project.

Please join me by donating to this good cause. They have suggested donation amounts, but I’m sure they would appreciate whatever you can give.

Below is the link to their site so you can DONATE directly with them.
